Ugh. Here I have this blog, yet, I slack off and write nothing for months. Well, it’s not as if nothing has happened, I just haven’t written a word about any of it.
You see, I was trying to make this blog more targeted. You know, ignoring the advice I gave myself when I started this thing. The idea was, I should probably target overlanders and make this an overlanding blog. Nope. I just can’t write about a single topic like that.
I’m back to just writing about my family outdoor adventures. It’s much better that way.
So, what’s happened lately?
One thing is, I made a few YouTube videos about Land Rover Discovery stuff. Here’s a few of those if you’re into that sort of thing.
Another thing, my wife had the idea that we should buy a school bus. We bought a school bus.

Why on earth would we purchase such a monstrosity? Adventure. That’s why. There will be much more info about the bus coming soon. If the term “skoolie” entered your mind, yes, we’re going there.
If the term skoolie is unfamiliar to you, here’s a link to a YouTube search that will get you up to speed.
We still have our land in Colorado and we drove there and back 5 times this summer. It was a lot of fun. Also, more on that soon.
There you have it, a quick update about the Fitzsimmons family adventures. I plan to keep this blog up to date as we dive into the bus project and our other adventures.
Hello Don. I like the bus (Freightliner). It is in much better shape then I though and I’m sorry to thinking differently on that fact. I’m surprised the school district sold this bus as it looks to me to have years of service left in its life. You bought a nice bus. Have fun with it.

It is in good shape. Not sure why the decided to get rid of them, but I’m glad they did. Nice to have someone like yourself, who knows a thing or two about buses, say that. Hoping to make some progress on it soon.
